Okay, so I've had Brewer & Shipley's "One Toke Over the Line" stuck in my head the entire day now.  And you know what?  I actually don't mind that much.  It's one of the most insanely catchy songs in the history of time, and it's got a real nice mellow groove to it.  Of course, neither Brewer nor Shipley was ever seen again after releasing this song.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Been going through some old old cds lately, came across this one.

Great album. "I Can Hear You" is pure, undiluted genius.

Even though the majority of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant's catalog is based around music they stole from classic blues tunes (see: "Whole Lotta Love"), they decided that they couldn't have Schoolly D sampling "Kashmir" for the "Signifying Rapper" track...even though the album had been out for years and the track was being used in Bad Lieutenant. The album is now out of print and hard to find, and all video copies of Bad Lieutenant that featured the track were destroyed. And then Page recorded that same sample for a fuckin' Puff Daddy song on the Godzilla soundtrack several years later...fucking pricks. Abel Ferrara felt that the song's removal ruined the film. Anyway, great record, try to download a copy.

I've been looking for "Signifying Rapper" for at least a decade.

Specifically, Doctor! Doctor!, but I can't find a good youtube video of it that's not a remix that they'll let me embed.  Ah well.

"The Gap" is probably my favorite song off that album.

Yeah, it's a great song.  Kind of underrated here, too.

Thrashalla

It's a Metal Church album...therefore it is better than 90% of what you probably listen to :P

Admit it: You love it because it was in The Kids In The Hall: Brain Candy.

Probably my absolute favorite on that album is "Till My Head Falls Off."
