[bettertomorrowamy]

Well I'll never know.

[anais.jude]

anyway, this is a discussion for another thread.

Here we talk about Kavalier and Clay, only! (or unicorns  )

[Tripe]

Ok so it arrived, shall we begin?

[mrbasehart]

For the record, I thought the book was amazing.  Have fun!

Ditto.  One of my favorite books of the last few years.

[bettertomorrowamy]

I started.

[anais.jude]

Shall we read the first 50 pages? Or shoudl we read to the end of the first section (which would be, what, 75 pages?)

[Tripe]

I'd go with the latter since there seems to be some sort point behiond having it divided into sections.

Oh and I started as well.

I will try to get the proposed fourth member on still, she's expressed a desire to be part of this.

[anais.jude]

yea, Tripe, get a move on!

Concurred.  Outstanding.  Enjoy!

[boingo2000]

I read this book about 4 years ago and wouldn't mind re-reading it - thought it was great.  But right now I'm about 45 pages away from the end of Hound of the Baskervilles, so I might be a little slow catching up.

[Tripe]

Eh, I'd not worry about that, have a read and see if you can join us

[anais.jude]

yea, I don't know about Tripe and BTA, but I barely started it. Although it got real good, real fast

[Tripe]

I'm about 20 pages from reaching the discussion point, it makes me want to dig out my collection of Yiddish supernatural stories

[anais.jude]

Hey Tripe, what's the deal with your friend?
