If thats the case, then I'll be on the lookout for an updated SWHS too.

Ha.  Now, there's something I'm fairly certain that Lucas couldn't make any worse.

Forget the midichlorians, Bea Arthur is Anakin's father.

I take it back.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Doctor Who?

How about changing it from Chewy's family to Jar Jar's.

That's just plain sadistic.

Doctor Who?

What having to watch Jar Jar and his wife have sex?

Would the backing track be an update of the 2 Live Crew classic, "Meesa Horny"? :D

Anyone happen to catch a commercial for the 100% CG Star Wars: The Clone Wars due out this month? It's technically a comic book movie, I think, so it should be as riff-worthy as 300.

Chaos

I saw some coverage of it on Space's Comic Con-Fidential show last night, and just afterwards I also saw the commercial trailer for the first time. It looks bloody stupid to me (graphics-wise AND story-wise). I hate Lucas. Hack.

The line from, Yoda?, in the trailer "Skywalker is the republic's only hope" Ooh boy kiss goodbye to the Republic then.

Chaos

I'm confused about something here. When exactly is this story supposed to take place, timeline-wise? It's DURING the Clone Wars, right? But does it take place before Annakin goes "bad," or is it supposed to be in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope?

Well personally the answer to that is "Don't Know Don't Care" but apparently

QuotePlot

The Clone Wars takes place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.[1] The eponymous Clone Wars rage between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. When Jabba the Hutt's son, Rotta the Hutt, is taken by a group of renegades, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi depart in search of answers: where is the Hutt's son, and who is controlling this mysterious renegade group. Yoda sends Ahsoka Tano along as Anakin's apprentice.[1] Count Dooku will unleash his minions, including Asajj Ventress and General Grievous, to cause havoc for the Republic and to make a three way war between the Galactic Republic, the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Hutts.

I really think Shia kinda came into his own as a more-than-a-boy, not-yet-a-man greaser, trying to cover up basic insecurity with cocky bravado.

I liked the fun fact it mentioned about scorpions. =o

Maybe, in tradition with the "religious artifacts and the quest for knowledge only lead to horrible death and madness at the hands of unknown uber-powers" theme of the Indy movies, the next one will have Indiana Jones and Cthulhu. ^_^
Love doesn't hurt. It kills.

I kind of dont mind Shia either.    He kind of grows on you and seems likeable.

However, the animation for the new Star Wars movie looks bad to me.    I am sure that Ralph Bakshi is wondering why crap like that is being made and he cannot get a movie green lighted.
