I'm passing on all their 'Live/repeat' CD's as I've heard those songs enough times already, but these are the only 2 'New music' albums they've put out since 'Brave New World' to my knowledge..

Yeah those are the only new studio albums. For the live stuff I prefer buying the DVDs. The Rock in Rio DVD is great.

The Turtles are great.  I'm really only familiar with their hits though.  Perhaps I should dig a bit deeper.

Not to go off onto a tangent, but my VHS copy of Three Amigos had a preview for the Malkovich film MAKING MR. RIGHT, which featured HAPPY TOGETHER, and I always think of this trailer when I hear the song.  (As well as a super cheesy advert for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED: SPEED!  haha.)
It's been a long standing joke between my sister and I to quote a line from the film/trailer:  "You just made it with my android."   "Ewwwwwwwwwww."

1:32 is where the line occurs.  Shit, this trailer doesn't have the Turtle's song.  Can anyone back me up on this?  Three Amigos fans, where are ya?  Look up here!  Look up here!  Hey...guys!

Not so much now, but a couple weeks ago I was listening to Jakob Dylan's new album SEEING THINGS.  I'm a fan of The Wallflowers, since most of their albums have a few keepers, as does Jakob's first solo release:


I especially enjoy WILL IT GROW, EVERYBODY PAYS AS THEY GO, and ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.  Worth a listen.  The whole album is pretty good actually.

Yeah, then I'm not just imagining things.  That song definitely had something to with that movie, which I've never seen, or trailer.

Onto Genesis. 
Being an Oasis fan, I get constant enjoyment out of Noel Gallagher ripping on Phil Collins, but I really dig the song "That's all" from that album.

Noel on Phil:

--Just because you sell lots of records it doesn't mean to say you're any good. Look at Phil Collins.
--I'll do one eventually as life's too short and none of us are getting any younger. I'd like to make one while I still look good and before I look like Phil Collins, which, eventually, I will.

I had the same video you had, and, yes, it did feature "Happy Together" instead of...whatever the hell's on that trailer.
