It might be a longshot, but no one ever said this would be the only Christmas Rifftrax.  Considering how short this one is, maybe this is only a slight diversion, and there's something else up Mike Nelson's sleeve....

Or maybe it's just a whole lot of wishful thinking.

yeah, I think we're all hoping for that a little bit too...

anyway, i think in the spirit of New Year's we should have a movie about a post-apocalyptic future or something of that nature... just think how many scifi films have plots about: "in the year 2000 the world will be chaotic and cars will fly. "

This appears to be a religious short.  I hope Mike doesn't try and ruffle feathers, this is technically the first religious piece he's ever done.

My questions are, is Kevin done for now, and will there be another Rifftrax in the coming weeks or are they going to take a break?

Personally i dont think mike will do anything but make fun of the short/special itself. I dont think he would get into the Religious side of it.

I think Mike and the crew need to take a break for Christmas...and I love Nestor!  It's just so ... well, rifftraxy.

I think Mike has said he's pretty religious. I can't imagine him ripping Christmas a new one.   I don't recall it being that overly preachy anyway.

I think the talk about what movie's people wanted to see, or what movies are the most "riff-worthy" kind of miss the point, it's not about that, it's about what Mike can get the most funny out of, and if that's Nestor, then I am pumped for it.

This seems to be a choice, like Roadhouse, that Mike has wanted to do for a while.  It doesn't fit any of the criteria of a previous 'trax (not a bad thing), and isn't readily available to non-US customers (although I do assume we make a small percentage of the total rifftrax consumers).  However, it does seem like it'll be a fun 'trax.  I'll be getting it.
