"Body Care and Grooming" goes horribly wrong....

Wow.  I mean ... wow.  They were really ... um, enthusiastic.  Or keenly alive and exuberant, as Merriam Webster would say.  Just thank God nobody dropped a bar of soap!

Anyway, in a totally different vein, what with summer surfing season here and the landmark Supreme Court decision on gun rights the other day, how about a video featuring a Weird Al song that celebrates both!

I'm shamelessly plugging my own video. I originally created this as a joke so its not supposed to be some magnificent music video. Its just a few clips of Mary Tyler Moore from the Dick Van Dyke show. This song has nothing to do with her, but again I used it as a joke because of the one line, "shoes that cut." Well you can tell from the video why I used that part.

If you have never watched this show before, watch it. To this day it is in my top 3 list of comedies. This show is hilarious. Carl Reiner is brilliant.

I'm trying very hard to come up with some American equivilent of this:

I may never set foot in Japan ever, now.

Pak-Man

Oh, I think I know the American equivalent...

You may have seen this newsstory where a teacher was suspended for calling his student the N word:

But have you seen TUPAC re-enact it?

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Interesting twist on the riff...

(from Smila's Sense of Snow....yeah, I didn't see it either but the book was good)

I've posted before, I don't think it was in this thread though. It's the worst live interview I've ever watched, poor Holly Hunter. Keep in mind this is an interview on ABC, that becomes relevant at the end of the video.

Ha!  I love that you can hear some producer screaming in abject horror when she gives out the web address.

Listen to the narration alone at about 1:26....   ;D

She knows how to throw a party!

Dim of the Yard

Shortly ago, one of my favorite bad movie reviewers from YouTube, SpoonyOne, reviewed a movie featuring Reb Brown of Space Mutiny fame.  This movie is called Yor: Hunter From The Future, and is a hilarious post-apocalyptic film.  It has some of the most ridiculous action scenes ever, and although the review is amazing, the movie really deserves to stand out on its own.

I mean, watch this short, 30 second clip of the movie below:

Where else can you see a blond, bronzed, and oiled caveman using the rigor mortis-ed (and freshly killed, which wasn't seen in the video) corpse of a giant, winged monster to hang glide into a cave full of purple cavemen and save the hot babe?

As a side note, how awesome would it be to have a theme song that literally says that you're the man?
