Are you still not happy with our merged versions?

mp3 allows a separate track for the raw short audio and the merged audio on the same DVD.

In case you want to watch the short by itself?

Man, I'm a fan and all.. but you guys are weird :P

Yeap. Dang, I guess everyone really does have different taste for how they like their riffs.

Yeah. I've actually grown to prefer no ducking. I just make the riff audio a little louder than the original. MST3K-level ducking is about as much as I would want.

Is there a reason why you'd prefer not to release the mp3?

You guys are all wrong. The "Jaws" theme is the only way to go.

FYI, none of the shorts we are releasing this month are sourced from archive.org  So releasing MP3s is going to be a confusing ordeal if you want to synch it.  I can't speak for them all, but at least two of the ones I looked at contained different prints on archive, with missing frames, skips and in one case, the short we used was in color, but B&W on archive.org

PlayMSTie

Oh dear. I always just go to archive.org and use the mp3 because I'm really dumb and don't have the remotest clue about how to use the merged ones, or even if my Mac will allow me to.

I don't suppose some nice person would like to explain it to me in words of one syllable or less? *Bats virtual eyelashes (again) and looks exceptionally helpless*

Playing a video is no different than playing an MP3.  Use quicktime to play the quicktime version of the file.

Or download and install VLC and use it to play virtually any downloaded videos.  It's free and the best:

That's a pretty good reason. Bummer.

Wow . . . been a long time since I've seen anything "wazzup" related.

PlayMSTie

Thanks, Conor. I'll try. I'll probably find some way to louse it up, but I'll try!

So what source did you use?

edit: The copy from archive.org seems to work fine with this first short. Just had to shave off about 1.3 seconds from the mp3.

Is there a set schedule for when these shorts are released? Two a week... So... every Tuesday and Thursday? Or will it be random, like Tuesday and Wednesday this week, Monday and Friday next week? I wanna set these in my iCal.
