Netflix doesn't seem to have it though.

EDIT: Yes it does.  They only have it listed under "The Year Without Santa Claus" but it's included.

RaoulDuke

Ninjas don't kill people, Pat Morita playing a ninja kills people.

Steve-O

heh... Awesome.  I've never even heard of this one.

I guess Mike didn't have the heart to beat up on one of the beloved classics.

For Netflix users:

Again, to reiterate, the short comes loaded on this DVD, so if you get that you have all three holiday classics. Maybe next year we'll get Mike to riff on the ol' Heat Mizer!

Congratulations, guys.  I hope there's a (legally) downloadable version somewhere, 'cause getting this from the States before Christmas is going to cost too much for me.

pyro

one of the libraries in delaware county has it on VHS, guess I should go request it at the one a couple blocks away before it's too late

Well Monty we always had hope. After all, you seemed to be the most doubting about whether Nestor was it, and you seemed quite surprised when it was revealed to be true 8)

BathTub

Well, Interesting, the odds of me finding a copy locally are very slim.

Yeah, well I figured that if you were going to go through the trouble of riffing a holiday animated special, it was gonna be a big one like Rudolph or Frosty.  Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July would have been perfect since it is not as cherished as the original specials and is 97 minutes long.

The reason i was so surprised is that this is the first Rifftrax project I had never heard of before.  Which, I'm sure a lot of people here will also be able to say.

Is there a release date yet?

And trying to get one in time for Christmas to Canada will be impossible  :(

Hope you enjoy it US RiffTrax Fans :(

This appears to be a religious short.  I hope Mike doesn't try and ruffle feathers, this is technically the first religious piece he's ever done.

My questions are, is Kevin done for now, and will there be another Rifftrax in the coming weeks or are they going to take a break?

Steve-O

Now that I've had a second to take a breath, I want to point out that somebody did a truly marvelous job on the poster.  You guys work hard for your 99 cents.

Here's the description:

"Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey is born with VERY long ears, that keep getting him into trouble. When his owner throws him out of the stable in disgust, his mother sacrifices her life to save him from a blizzard. And, guided only by his guardian cherub, he has to find his rightful place and destiny, somewhere on the road to Bethlehem."

Sounds like... fun?

On the way there he meets Dumbo coming the other way.
