Vio-lence - Eternal Nightmare

Decent thrash metal, but nothing spectacular. I happened to run across it a few years back while browsing a record store in LA. Being a Machine Head fan, I had heard of this band and picked the record up, not giving it much thought after I'd played it once. I'd much, MUCH rather have Darkness Descends on vinyl, but I doubt I could run across a pristine copy of that for $5.

Faith No More - King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime

I picked the 7-inch collectors set on ebay years ago and finally broke the seal... it's the entire album and the b-sides (along with some interviews) spread across 7 7" vinyls. Interestingly enough, the records play at 33 rpm and not 45. And... looking at the vinyls themselves, I just realized that Absolute Zero is not included on the set, which is an absolute shame.

So, onto the music.. this is FNM's most underrated album and it's a shame because it's far more diverse than any of their others, which is saying a lot because this band was about as diverse across the majority of their catalog as a band could ever be.
