How is Batman in the lead though? I mean seriously. Are majority of the posters here so young they never saw Roger Rabbit? Or do people hate cartoons that much, and love the comic wagon so much? Cause to this date Micheal Keaton while being the worst Bruce Wayne, he was the best Batman.

Doctor Who?

What?

Batman begins was not only the best Superhero movie to come out since Superman the movie,it was a good movie in it's own right.

I am really looking forward to The Dark Knight.

I'm 35 and have seen Roger Rabbit more times than I've wanted to see it. My friend has run it into the ground so much I start having panic attacks just reading the title of the movie in this thread. All in all I prefer Batman Begins because finally there's a movie out there that has portrayed the current comicbook Batman the way he should be portrayed.

P.S. Picked up this poster yesterday at Wal-Mart.

I love it!!!

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

By making funny voices?

By basing his crime fighting on the idea of not killing anyone, and then killing people anyway?

Doctor Who?

Who did he kill?

Raz choose to go on a suicide mission he just stopped him from killing anyone else.

Superman movies tend to suck. I never enjoyed any of them. Batman Begins was really standard though. It wasn't as groundbreaking or amazing as people make it out to be. Standard female love interest, standard revenge plot, a grip load of money to Micheal Cane, and Morgan Freeman for bit and unnecessary parts. Micheal Keaton has still been the best Batman to be honest with you. I mean ugly Bruce Wayne, and Burton is shite, but Keaton was ace.  I mean it is just when comparing the two one did do more than the other, and one was made better. I guess it is opinions, but it's just Batman Begins was just a good movie, not revolutionary or any of the sorts. Ah wells.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. He said he doesn't kill but that doesn't mean he has to save them either. If you remember it was Ducard/R'as who caused the Gotham Tram to go out of control in a bid to kill Batman but his plan backfired. I think Ironman has a bigger track record of blatantly killing enemies intentionally than Batman. As far as funny voices, I don't know what that refers to. ???

Nope, sorry, calling bullshit. Letting someone die through inaction knowing that it will cause them to die is still murder.

And I can't stop laughing every time Bale does his Batman voice.

Personally, though this could be the moment that makes Batman doubt his own heroism in the future, I don't believe for a second that Ras is dead.  Batman left an incredibly resourceful ninja with a mysterious past and a history of cheating death alone and didn't see what happened to him.  This might be a "realistic and dark" take but by any comic book logic, Ras got away and is licking his wounds.  If they'd done like '89 Batman and showed the villain's body after the fall obviously lifeless I might say different.  Keaton's Batman was more a murderer.  I mean he hooked Joker with his rope to a heavy stone gargoyle, what else was going to happen but Joker falling to his death?

I never had a problem with Bale's Batman voice either, but maybe that's just me.

You think Alfred is a bit and unnecessary part?  Done right, Alfred is Bruce Wayne's entire family and most of his emotional center.  As for Lucius Fox, though it's a change from how he's depicted in the comics, it's a good way to make Batman's acquisition and understanding of his gadgets and devices a bit more sensical.

I've seen it and I love cartoons, I just hate Roger Rabbit.   The fact I really like Batman Begins was a bonus, also disagree on Keaton.

Normally...I'd agree with you. But if I was in the same situation as Batman, looking down at a guy who is trying to kill a bunch of innocent people, I'd let him die. I don't think I would try to save him, and nobody would blame me for letting him die. I just don't see that as cold blooded murder.

And I thought Christian Bale does a good job with Batman, even his "scary" voice.  :-\

Doktor Sleepless

Batman Begins was exactly that though. Based on a comic, and filmed adequately. It was just an okay film. I mean I hate Nightmare before Christmas but I won't say it's a better film than Crank, cause I liked that.

Yes, but we're not talking about cold blooded murder, we're just talking about murder. In the comics, Batman was not a killer. Even if it made things more difficult overall, he would not take a life, or, through inaction, allow a life to be taken. At least, not back when I was reading them (the 90's). I'm sure they've abandoned that along with everything else in their efforts to keep people interested. There were a couple of very notable exceptions, but those are the things that preyed on his mind (like when he attempted to kill the Joker after he killed Jason Todd, even though he actually failed to do so).

And Roger Rabbit takes the lead for being the more memorable part of my childhood, and I did love Batman back then.
