Kingdom of Loathing

[Pak-Man]

Am I the only one who's discovered this? It's at http://www.kingdomofloathing.com and it's my favorite time waster outside of these forums. :^) It's kind of a cross between a massively online RPG and an adventure game, and it's free. Best of all, it's crammed with MST3K references. Scale Mt. McLargeHuge! Hi-Keeba a Warwelf! Lotsa fun. :^)

Thanks for this.  I just started playing.  I love the sense of humor, and boy does it make the time disappear.

EDIT:  I knew it reminded me of some game, but I just couldn't think of what it was last night.  Now I remember, it reminds me a lot of Mother 2, or for you non Japanese people, Earthbound.  I loved that game, it was goofy as hell.  One of the only video games that had me laughing out loud.  Kingdom of loathing has me doing the same.

Ahh Earthbound! Still crossing my fingers for the sequel to come to the states. :^)

Personally I hope it doesn't.  That way I won't feel so bad when I download the fan translated rom, being too cheep to buy a gameboy advanced.  Then I can say "well I had no other choice, it's only in Japanese."
