I'm sorry. I just cannot watch Roger Rabbit because it's just not appealing to me anymore. I've grown out of it by now. Of course this is due in part to a friend who has an obsessive love of all things Christopher Lloyd. She rather ran movies like Roger Rabbit amd the Back to the Future Trilogy. I can't even so much as even see these titles and have a minor panic attack. Now Batman Begins......I can watch Christian Bale in that movie all day. He's such a hotty.

I will freely admit to having a guy crush on Christian Bale.

And I have a man crush on that rabbit. Love that movie, and I adore the very different book. Still, a tough choice. Gonna have to go with the rabbit though; not enough time has passed for me to determine if Batman Begins is really great or not. I'll be able to tell you in 2010.

Pak-Man

Roger Rabbit wasn't just a great animation/live action hybrid, it was also a great mystery and a wonderful period piece. There was a lot of love poured into that movie.

Had to go with the Bat here, but it was a tough decision.  This was my favorite live action version of Batman, and I was already a huge Batman fan.  Roger Rabbit was greatness too, but the vote had to go one way or the other.

I think I mentioned this in one of the nominations threads, but I saw Roger Rabbit recently, and it just hasn't held up too well.  I just wanna kick the Rabbit's face in.  Batman Begins, while not a great movie, is better.

The nomination thread he put up before any of the polls started.

Edit:  And like a thief in the night Isaac deletes the post I was responding to, thus making it look like I'm spouting random meaningless sentences.

Which we all then voted on and are now being randomly drawn against each other.

I don't exactly now how this voting/list was made. I imagine it was made by what people said their opinion of the best movie was, most often.
Round about now! Since they say! I am the sexiest man in Jamaica!

I started laughing immediately when I saw this thread.  I just watched both of these on the same day about 2 weeks ago.  I love both of them but my vote went to Batman Begins.   I was sure that Joel Schumacher had ruined Batman as a whole for me but I'm pleased to say Chris Nolan saved the franchise.  I can't wait for Dark Knight.

How did Roger Rabbit get into 'films you can watch without vomiting blood' let alone this?

Why are you so extreme?

I didn't like it the first time then had to watch it over and over at birthdays, etc when I was a kid so my dislike grew pretty quickly... find it strange I'm explaining an extreme reaction to a film to you though.

I still don't know why they need a main female love interest in every Batman movie made.

My guess:  the whole Robin slash thing.  They keep scrubbing, but it won't come out.

And yeah, this is another tough one.

I'm going to wager a bet alot of Batman fanboys share your situation.  ;)

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Chaos

Roger Rabbit GMV.

While Batman Begins is the best Batman movie we've had (so far), it still had elements that were far too predictable and cookie-cutter, plus as others have said - WTF, Katie? Really? Give me a break.

Roger Rabbit, on the other hand, was a completely unique experience. Everything about it was lovingly crafted, it had a great story, excellent cinematography, fun interactions between the humans and toons. Plus it had the whole Film Noir thing going on. It was completely unconventional (except for when it was intentionally hyperbolizing convention for the purpose of mockery), and utterly fantastic. Probably one of my favourite movies of all time.
