Rifftrax ratings

[meeklo]

I've search the FAQ but I can't find an answer to my question.

What rating are the rifftraxs in?

I don't want to be listening to a family movie being riffed and hear the f-bomb or some sexual innuendo. (Me personally love that stuff, but maybe not for the whole family)

Can anyone help?

The rule of thumb goes, for the most part, the RiffTrax is the same rating as the movie. So if the movie is PG-13 you can expect some PG-13 language.

I think the most foul they have gotten (with the exception of the "Saw" track which has a "Mature" warning) are words like "dipshit" or "douchebag" and sometimes even a penis reference. Others can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it gets much raunchier than that.

From the riffs I've heard (which is most of them) I think you nailed it.  I do remember that the page for Nestor warns that it might not be appropriate for young children despite the family nature of the special, and that the Fellowship of the Rings riff was kind of packaged as especially family friendly.
