LOTR: The Two Towers should be released tomorrow. For now, here's the sample to whet your appetite. Looks like I now have a reason to buy the movies :)

Pretty funny clip.  Should be fun, although I'm not sure I have 15 hours to watch this weekend.

Supposed to rain all weekend in Houston........ checks list of indoor activities:

1.   Make giant pot of shrimp etouffee
2.   Make plenty of visits to beer fridge
3.   Line up Rifftrax and knock them down one at a time.

I don't see how Mike, Kevin and Bill riffing Gollum could go wrong. I've been hoping they'd do Two Towers, it's such a weird movie with the Ents and all.

Man! Being gone on vacation for 3 1/2 weeks, I gotta lot of catching up to do :scared:

Man, I felt like I just threw up a whole wizard.

Dang it!  Looks like this one might be funnier than the first one, now I'll have to bo re-buy the theatrical version that I gave away when I got the boxed set.  At least the single disk version is in the bargan bin most places.

Not that I mind having multiple copies, I've got 2001 on VHS, DVD, BD-DVD.  When LOTR comes out on BD I'll probably have to get that set as well....  Some movies are worth it, the Blu-Ray version of 2001 comes the closest to how I remember seeing it on the really big screen when I was a kid (when movie theaters had one really big screen)...

Can't wait.

Never cared for the Unriffed LOTR:FOTR so I never watched any of the others. Loved the FOTR rifftrax and I'm sure I'll love this one.

That is the thing about Rifftrax. It gets me to buy and watch stuff I'd never bother with otherwise

facade

I'd love to get these but why waste money on the theatrical version? I certainly don't.

I did... personally I don't like flipping a DVD, but that's just a personal nitpick.

Plus they are $5 at Wal-mart!

Also, it's a lot more writing to do another 40 minutes of LOTR movie. Which would probably mean a higher price for you guys. Sorry... we might get to revisit these in the future and do alternate extended versions, but not anytime soon.

ShadowDog

Oh for crissakes, 3 freaking hours wasn't long enough for some people?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's a new world record length for one rifftrax, isn't it?  And people want the extended version?  I was shocked this one was the normal price to be honest when they did twice the amount of work.
