Hello there, MM.  Vampire in Brooklyn? Really?   ;D

moviemirth

It seemed like a classy choice at the time, but I've never seen it to be honest. I just like his mullet.

Except for the fact that it's a comedy.

I like the film, though, and I could use an excuse to buy it one of these days.

Moviemirth: welcome to the board!

Thanks guys! I just added "Gingerdead Man" to my site. I think RiffTrax could do certain comedies, namely ones that fail on every level and star Adam Sandler?

I concur....except the wedding singer holds a special place in my heart...for personal reasons.

I like Adam Sandler. He's done some terrible films (8 Crazy Nights or Mr. Deeds, anyone?), but he's also in some very funny films as well. Additionally, The Wedding Singer and Punch-Drunk Love need to be called into attention, as they both show what a great actor he is in addition to a comedian.

Sandler is often underrated because it's so easy to criticize dumb humor. People will often pass on some very funny comedies because they think too highly of themselves in order to just sit down and laugh at something without worrying about whether or not it's particularly intelligent humor. Who cares? I don't care what kind of comedy I watch - if it's funny, it doesn't matter. 8)

Cibernético II

with movies like Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, and The Waterboy I thought Adam Sandler was awesome when I was in high school.

but I've learned to hate the guy, his movies have become more and more egocentric and stupid. 8 Crazy Nights was despicable. And on what backwards-ass planet can Adam Sandler pass for an NFL quarterback? don't get me started on the wedding singer and all the other movies where he plays some kind of tough-guy savior
I really do like pie.
