TGME Round 1: Back to the Future Vs. Goodfellas

I'm not. I took a lot out of both, however Goodfellas seems to have greater artistic merit to me, it speaks more to my ascetic sense.

And ultimately I could do what Basehart suggest but really neither movie offers much in the hotness stakes.

In fact I posted about the worthlessness of "worthiness" right at the beginning of this process.

Having said that though, what one takes from a movie and what in a movie appeals to one isn't restricted purely to diversion or straight entertainment.

I back to the future and hated goodfellas.  I cant see what was so good about it at all.  I felt the entire last 20 minutes was tacked on and insipid.  I felt quite a few things were predictable.  I felt as though to top all that off the ART movie had absolutely no point it was trying to convey just some random stuff happening to some guy who was a crook.  BTTF though i felt was clever witty and charming, which in a movie about time travel seems to be all but impossible to me.  BTTF is a movie i can still pop in the player and thouroughly enjoy.

Really I don't mind which one goes through of this pairing and I fancy it'll be BTTF so that's great

The look on Ray Liotta's face in the last scene just before 'my way' kicks in alone is way more fun than anything in Back to the Future to me.

OK, it's tough but I think I find Back to the Future the more rewatchable film (and these are BOTH very rewatchable).  Of course, this could have something to do with my unjustified love of the 80's.  Yeah, yeah, I can't defend it.
