New guy kicked it off with a Turkey day marathon

[PJD]

Hi everybody, I bought 8 of the rifftracks and had me a marathon on Turkey-day to get in the groove.
All I can say is this stuff is awesome!
Best Thanksgiving I've had in years. Mabye I'll do the same for New Years.

Did you get through all 8 in one day? sheesh... you might wanna take it slower man anyway, welcome to the club.

I've been here for awhile and still havent gotten to star trek, top gun, cocktails, roadhouse, and point break... people like you are makin me look bad

Also, since you seem to be exausting the riffs in record order i suggest you look into legendfilms releases ( <----like the one in my avatar)

Wow 8 in one go! Which ones? Any you thought were stand outs?

Welcome, PJD.  8 in one go is very impressive.  I'm guessing you didn't start with Cocktail, Crossroads and XXX, cause the awfulness contained in those three movies jammed together in one sitting would've destroyed a man's morale.

He's made of liquid metal so it doesn't bother him

By the way...Have you seen this boy?

[PJD]

I dowloaded 8 but only got through 6. I watched:
THe Grudge- Hillarious rifftrack
The Matrix- Also awesome
Star Wars Phantom Menace-Funny but that movie is so awefull that I found myself getting fidgety.
Halloween-Awesome!
X-Men-Might me my favorite "Cerebro-Magneto" and "I've out Britished you by a mile"
Top Gun- Probably my favorite, I can't remember the lines but I loved it.

I also started Star Trek V and it was hillarious but I dozed off
I gotta get my DVD burner in order so I can mix it all onto one disk. That thread had me all excited.

For me the stand out was Top Gun, for my Gilrfriend it was X-Men.

How have you not watched Top Gun Yet!!?

^^ well considering I buy all the DVDs, and am not rich... those are just the more expensive ones that I will get to when I have money  :-

I have gotten through all the others though, including dr moreou and all the legend releases (plus stooges).

Yeah I totally understand. I can't wait to get to The Island of Dr Moreau and the Legend film stuff.
I gotta get my DVD burner going ASAP

You can always rent while funds are low, then buy when you have the scratch. :^)
