Wow.  Thanks Disembaudio!  I really wasn't expecting to get the MVP here.

Thanks to everyone who asked meaningful questions.  And a special shout out to Steve-O for keeping tally.

Well i thought Firewall. was a o.k. movie. Not great but not really bad either. The thing with Harrison Ford his he plays these guys in bad situation in almost every movie. Except Star Wars and indiana jones. if they did pick Batman begins. I dont think i would bother hear it get riffed. No offence but it is one of favorite movies and the last they did a movie i really liked (aka X-men). It wasnt that good.

No sweat.  It wasn't really much help this time, since the questions were so focused (and rightly so).  But maybe next time.

I agree.  Plus, also giving one to the correct guesser just ushers the random movie title guessers right back in, which is one thing I think we all want to avoid.

Well, I did ask the PG-13 question too.  As long as it's stated that the correct guesser doesn't automatically get the free trax, I think we're on the right track.

You deserve it! I was still scratching my head by the end there.
I think we all know how to play a better game now! Personally I think genre questions may not be that helpful. Doesn't do as efficient a job at eliminating movies as range-cutting types of questions (concerning alphabetic placement of movie, year of movie, number of words, and so forth), especially considering how genres can be blurred sometimes.

Firewall is pretty terrible.  Every thing plot related is either incredibly obvious or improbable and Harrison Ford looks borderline catatonic half the time. A big juicy 18% on the rottentomato meter.  My favorite quote about it, and it's right on the money:

"Put Alan Thicke in the lead role of Firewall and, without changing one line of dialogue, the flick would debut at 9pm Eastern on ABC's Movie of the Week."

Yes, but considering they use the imdb to answer these questions, you can check to see what they classify it as (they usually list multiple genres).  At first I thought it could be Flightplan, but when I looked closer, it has action listed as a genre.  When doing the power search, genre really helps.

I have seen Firewall, but I was more excited about it, not because of the acting or the story, but because of the places I could point out that I knew, since I live near Seattle.

I was like, "Hey, there's the Alaskan Way viaduct, that's gonna collapse any day now"

and "oh there driving out into the country parts of Western Washington. I wonder if they're in Carbonado yet?"

Then it showed them in like the middle of the desert, and I was confused because I said to myself, "Hey, there are no deserts in Western Washington, and I seriously doubt they drove the 3 hour drive to Yakima."

Oh yeah, feeling pretty good about this one.  ;D

I disagree- there was an underlying creepy, almost fascist pathos to it that you never get on TV. That script was the product of a disturbed mind, I tell you.

And I thought it said August 12th.

Well, it does by international ISO date standard, anyway...
