Plus PF gets the French name of the sandwich wrong.

It's actually just a Royal Cheese

Royal is the international name for the Quarter Pounder.

I tend to think only referring to someone by an incredibly clumsy combination of his name and your opinion pretty much kneecaps your argument.

Oh look, they blew his head off! That's fucking HILARIOUS.

I know!  ;D

Hackentino you mean? Not trying to win an argument dear boy, just using the name I think of him as.

I don't care who you vote for, vote for the talentless hack all you like :)

Well technically you can only vote the once but, you know, if you want to give it to the talentless video library clerk, that's entirely your right :)

i am actually trying to discuss the movie like greg wants and everyone ignores me...(except tripe)

actually i don't really care. i just feel like being vocal in my coffee induced haze

ScottotD

As opposed to the physics student?  If we're referring to people by their previous occupations.

Well how could I ignore you Anais, despite you ignoring me occasionally on IM  :(

;)

But yeah much is made of the realistic dialogue but really how realistic is is. It's entirely stylised and often just plain inept.

I've never heard anyone refer to the dialog in Pulp Fiction as realistic, it's incredibly stylized.

Anyhoo, although I'm probably more likely to sit and watch Office Space I think Pulp Fiction is a better movie overall.

i don't mean to ignore you. usually i have just left my computer on and i forgot to change my status.

i just don't think pulp fiction really has anything to say about the world. Office Space is a good satire but Pulp Fiction os all about killing. Hooray for killing and all that nonesense....

who was the physics student. i like physics

Tripe

ScottotD

Why would a movie have to say anything about the world?  also why would that make it good?

And that's fine, so you vote for the movie you like, though you seem to like OS more and are voting for PF based on a nebulous idea of "quality". Which is a pretty poor reason to vote for a film but go ahead, nobody's stopping you.

Anais has her reasons and you yours. :)

I thought that Samuel L. Jacksons characters' renouncement of violence saved him from dying?  Or was that just dumb luck?

Which nobody is stopping her from having, I'm merely asking a question.  As opposed to questioning the opinion, which you seem to enjoy.

Also, I said I'm more likely to watch Office Space which doesn't mean I like it more, it merely means it's easier to watch.  Although the ability to re-watch a movie is important it's certainly not the only criteria for me to consider it the better film.
