I stand corrected, rather unhappily as it's a stupid word for a song, but then again I can't stand Fleetwood Mac.  Everytime I hear a Fleetwood Mac song the only thing that keeps me from chopping my own head off is the fact that it's not Enrique Eglasias (SP)

Anyway, hi from a fellow newbie here.

I was put on this earth for one reason, and one reason only...to play hockey

Hockey is my favorite sport, which is rare for a southerner. My son played goalie for a few travelling roller hockey teams in our area. I sometimes wish I was born in the north, except for the fact it is so damn cold up there.

Hockey you say? Havent had the chance to play the last couple winters but hey the Minnesota Wild are good this year. I love the new shoot-out rule.

You know, there are allot of people who dont like the new shoot out rule. But I love it! All of the new rules are great, it makes the game much more exciting.

Yes the Wild look good this year. I think they have the best looking jerseys...the dark green is neat-o!

My team is the Ottawa Senators. Finaly they are winning again.  :-",

Yeah, I've always liked the jerseys (own the green style myself), but the name "Wild" took a few years to grow on me. Now I kinda like it, could be worse we could be called "Senators"  I forget what the jerseys look like though.

I hope this isn't too much hockey. I made at least one game of each round of the Hurricane's Stanley Cup Championship run last year. Here are a few pics from the Finals, Game One:

man those are some bad seats (as far as hockey seats go), not that I can blame ya, for the Twins playoffs a couple months back I was just as far from the infeild (had lower deck however which was nice)

I disagree. Those seats aren't too bad. The camera always makes it look further away then you really are.

The nice thing about Skyroniter's seats, is you can see the entire rink. Not one part of it is blocked or out of view. The only better spot would be in a corner, about the same height up.

Thanks gammer. The seats were front row in the upper deck and had a really good view of the ice. Actually they were the worst seats that I had in any playoff game. Considering it was the Finals I was lucky just to get them. Lower level were going for way too much for my wallet and were way too hard to get. And considering Edmonton lead 3-0 before Carolina made a great comeback, the seats were perfect!
