I like the replacements for stars and ranks.

Yeah, i'm not a big fan of the new goofy ranks and pictures... just my opinion, though~ Although i do enjoy being a member of Disembaudio's Squadio rather than a "newbie".

It's a collaborative effort.. Mike's out of town this week so we took it upon ourselves to come up with some ranks that are RiffTrax-related. We hoped you'd enjoy.

And just FYI there are some new higher ranks... so the more your posts add up the more RiffTrax-y your rank becomes.

Sorry that you don't enjoy them Rude. I think because they are all jokes from the commentary (or references to other events in the forum) they might be hard to get for most new users.. but they are a hit here at the moment. I'm still working on more so, keep posting to find out what they all are

EDIT: by the way, if no one else likes them, we can always change them. But where's the fun in that?

I wasn't meaning you specifically, but others coming in as well   And besides, when you think about it, this whole site and forum is fairly goofy and good-natured, and we wanted these new ranks to reflect that. It's really a minor change, but it's the little things in life...

I like the idea, but not the execution. Unfortunately I dont have any good suggestions myself other than that I think the names could be better (I dont know maybe a poll to choose the best names>? not sure)

Hey, while you're forum-tweaking, is there any way to make the sheets of paper next to the forum names (The ones that darken EVER-so-slightly if there's an unread post) stand out a bit more when there's an unread post? The quality of monitors varies somewhat in the breakroom at work and some computers make me have to really squint to see the difference.
