heh crossroads and glitter are probably two of my most favorite riffs.  although i didnt really care for the rest of that riff.

quite frankly i hope bill gets his titanic wish, cause i think the chick flicks are great fun for riffing fodder.

i suppose ill hrow my thoughts on new old moveis argument around here.  for me i dont mind so much doing new movies although i kinda prefer it to be movies that i own or plan to own.  i know thats incredibly cheap but im a college student so i have a reason.  but if i was to buy a film just for the riff it is much easier when the film is old so the price isnt so high.  for example when i am legend is anounced i know i dontparticularly want to own that, and its pretty expensive so i am going to skip out on that one.  but if its for something a few years back you can get em really cheap at bestbuy 5-10 bucks in maany cases.
also in regards to dune not selling well it seems there has been so much hype generated by rvr and others that everyone would be dieing to see how the riff would be.

I'm the same way.  I just can't spare that much money for this stuff, so I've missed out on a lot of great Trax.  It's a shame, but it's also nice to be able to eat.

And in regards to Dune, the forum still contains only a small percent of the RiffTrax buyers, so all the RVR-generated hype wouldn't make too much of a difference.  And some people on the forum just might not want to see the riff, no matter how hyped by RVR and the rest of the board, for whatever reasons.

Just keepin' it realistic, man.  That, and shattering all your hopes and dreams before you go out on vacation.   ;)

Why do you want to destroy the dreams of a man who just submitted an entire script of jokes for Dune?

Why are you so evil?

It's only because I'm jealous.  I don't own my own business, I don't go on vacation in Mexico, and Heath Ledger's death would have made people rallying behind MY first choice for RiffTrax (Brothers Grimm) awkward at best, flame-worthy at most.

Either that, or I'm bored.  You can pick which reason you like better.
