I'm sure you guys who weren't previously familiar with SA remember Lowtax from the interview that got tied into the Lord of the Rings scavenger hunt. In the SA rifftrax thread, he just posted:
Quoteoh boy do I have a whopper of an update regarding Rifftrax and I, Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka, coming up in the near future
The obvious speculation is that he'll be a guest riffer.

How would you guys feel about that?

Good luck to him! I really like the idea of expanding the riffer roster.
FINE

Lowtax got in a fistfight with Uwe Bolle.

Serious? That is funny.   :D

Any details about this on the web?

True but misleading. Bolle had a stunt where he was boxed critics of his movies, and Lowtax went. Uwe claimed he wouldn't really be boxing, and proceeded to attack everyone like a madman, because he's a juvenile jerk-off.

I don't know how to feel about anyone I listened to before being a riffer.  I can understand people wanting a second riffer to play off of Mike but honestly my favorite Rifftrax have been Mike solo. I don't have laugh out loud fits with the Kevin and Bill rifftrax at all. Maybe it is the caliber of movie that they have done. I don't know. Island of Dr. Moron is a movie I would never watch on its on so I have high hopes for it. I laugh out loud more reading and listening to Kevin's weekly blurb stuff than most of what he has done with Rifftrax. I laughed more at ALL the 2 minute Filmcrew clips than the Rifftrax with Bill and Kevin. If Lowtax actually does a riff I will buy it and try it out (I have laughed out loud at some stuff at somethingawfull.com) but I just wish there were more Mike solo stuff.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I prefer the riffing style of Bill over Kevin.
I do like Kevin, but for some reason Bill's riffing style appeals to me more.

I will purchase all the rifftrax for continuity, but I am quite up front about it if I like 'em or not, in my reviews.

Agreed.  Bill is edgy, slyly clever, and very talented at conveying emotions with his voice alone.  While Kevin is consistently warm-hearted and gregarious, Bill tends to extremes of mood and rarely cuts Mike any slack.  Having said that, I do think the best combination is all three of them together, playing off each other with their wildly different riffing styles.  I'm hoping that scenario is going to be Rifftrax's holiday gift to its fans!

I've honestly liked every riff so far, if only on the second or third run through. Bill seems to interact more with Mike, while Kevin seems mostly to comment on the movie along with him. It makes Bill being there seem more an event, since the movie would be commented on regardless.

It warms my heart to think that this might happen.  I would love it.  But which movie would they do together?  The obvious choice used to be LotR, but that's been done now...
