Another new forum record for attendance too!

It'll be out this Friday.

So now that all that is sorted out, when are we gonna see an update in the LOTR fan art contest??

And how about that Christmas Rifftrax??  The reason I thought we should get some advance word is so that we can take advantage of the various sales ongoing.

Dr. Moreau goes on the Netflix list, I guess.  No way I'm buying that stinker!

This is going to be awesome. Godfather, "I could have been a contender", "There's a robbery at Woolworths", Beauty and the Beast references, oh I can't wait.

Because now, nobody can hate me for wasting 3 questions. :^)

You're not trying to take credit for figuring this out, are you?  (I don't hate you by the way)
Oh HECK no. :^) I still DESERVE to by lynched. There's just not an excuse anymore. :^)

I was watching the movie through today, and I have to say that it is RIPE for riffing.... I mean.... RIPE.

Val Kilmer as a stoned veterenarian, Marlon Brando as Michael Jackson, David Thewlis as....well... david Thewlis....
J to the Pizzo
P to the Jizzay...

Phantom of Krankor

I'm a little dissapointed though. Of all the movies they could've done... Dr. Moreau? Still looking forward to it though... :)
I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Well, I have faith in Mike and Kevin, but damn, that film is really bad.

And "Road House" and "Phantom Menace" and "Cocktail" were really good?  ;D Just keep having faith!

Road House (cheesy fun), Phantom Menace (bad, but still Star Wars) and Cocktail (what can I say, we were drunk all the time in the 80's).

But, Dr Moreau is the worst of the lot of all the rifftrax in my opinion, hell give me crossroads anyday of this stinkburger.....

But, your point is well taken, Mike and Kevin have never let me down before.

I turned off voting and the average ratings are in. We're narrowing down the top 20 and choosing our favorite(s) (read: winner OR winners).

Reason why you don't know.. is because we don't know either. The decision for one hasn't actually been made yet. Sit tight.

I don't blame you. But it will make for some fiiiiine riffin'!

EDIT: By the way, how come when we gave you a good movie such as LOTR, it was "I think they should stick to bad movies" (as was the majority of opinion) but then when it's a really crappy movie like Moreau, you wish it was a good movie? Make up your mind, people!

Because I clearly asked 10 seconds before him!  ;)

For those of you who love Blockbuster as much as I: http://www.blockbuster.com/online/catalog/movieDetails?movieId=94002

The Unrated Directors Cut seems to be the only one released. Keep in mind of course the original Theatrical release was PG-13, which is what the answer to the question was based on.

Also, because you were only able to guess this one by way of our generosity, there will be NO RiffTrax freebie awarded. However Nubule was the first to guess on page 12, even though not all of the clues were in.

Good effort, but better luck next time!

So, is that confirmation that this is indeed the version used? Just double and triple checking :D

I am way more excited by this than the rescent blockbuster movies they've been doing. I have yet to watch The Matrix, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. I *WILL* watch them, I'm just more into this kind of movie being riffed.
FINE

Thanks for the update!  This means there is still time to lobby for the Rudolph/Frosty Christmas 2-pack!  It would be swell!

Actually, we're rescripting and refilming the entire movie with sock puppets, and changing the title to "The Sticky World of DisembAudio," so stay tuned
