Okay, so here's what we got so far.

Sci-fi.
1990's.
Set on earth.
Set in future.
PG-13.
Did poorly at the box office.
Based on a book.
Stars someone who was prevoiusly in RiffTrax.
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

'90s sci-fi with Swayze: nada
'90s sci-fi with Bruce Willis: Armageddon, The Fifth Element, Twelve Monkeys
'90s sci-fi with Keanu Reeves: Matrix, Johnny Mnemonic
'90s sci-fi with Tom Cruise: Nada

More to come if the n00bs can hang onto themselves.

So we got a Sci fi movie made in the 90s starring someone from a previous rifftrax that didn't do so well at the box office that was based on a book or literary work that is set in the future.

Any ideas?

;)

No more questions. Please. Guesses must be stated as non-questions so the rest of us can debate its merits based on the answers before an official guess.

Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

Why do people ignore the previous answers given before asking questions?  This 20 Q's is a lost cause.  For the next one I suggest people stop and read the previous answers before asking their questions.  Oh, and one more thing.  Look up what decade your movie was made in before guessing.  It saves us a question and you look smarter for not asking in the first place.  Thank you.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Phantom of Krankor

I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Erm can I withdraw my question and my penalty be that I don't get to ask it?
