Get the word out campaign for LOTR rifftrax....

Members of the forum here did a great job of spreading the word about the Phantom Menace and I am convinced we can do the same for the LOTR rifftrax.....
So let's start with a list of sites to contact

I emailed Xoanon at The One Ring as soon as it was announced, no word. He seems to be quite reluctant to post humourous stuff. Not like he doesn't need the news.

I also emailed Harry and Hercules @ aint it cool (Herc because of his TV connection) and I surprised not to see anything there considering their LOTR ties.

Even theforce.net put a news item up (however briefly) for the Phantom Menace one. One more notch for the Star Wars geeks and one against the '3 hours of walking' nerds.

I've been emailing the webmaster at ColbertNation.com to pass along my messages to the Colbert Report. As you might know, Stephen Colbert is a HUGE LOTR buff, not just the movies, but about anything you can think of. If a minor league hockey team outta Michigan can get so much fame and publicity from him(not to mention all the congressman he interviewed got reelected), we might be able to as well. I will just keep emailing everyday until he talks about it on his show.

As I said earlier I am pretty sure he just has a thing against comedy, well comedy that isn't made by his site. I messaged him a few times a while back when Luke Ski was pwning the nation with the song Stealing Like a Hobbit, not a word, but whenever one of his own staff members made a LOTR rap song it was all over the site.

It's bizarre, he's so desperate for things to post these days that he posts plenty of non LOTR related news.

We're discussing it at Ralphbakshi.com/forums, but it's a small group - probably the only 10 people on the planet who prefer Bakshi's 1978 film to Jackson's Hollywood Extravaganza!

Funniest damned thing I ever heard, btw! IMO, you made Jackson's movie watchable again. Thanks so much!!! It's so great to have Mike and Kevin back!
