Rocky, Rocky II, (already have III), Rocky IV, (fuck Rocky V), (already own Rocky Balboa), The Untouchables, A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Thank you, Walmart 5 dollar bin! Also cheap, but not $5: Hellboy Director's Cut, and Gattaca.

Doctor Who?

I love Wal-Mart's bins too.

Last week I pick up the three disc director's cut of Hellboy too,For $7.50!

You can't beat that.

I am glad that they finally released a Widescreen edition of Gattaca,it is one of the most underrated movies to come out in the past 30 year IMO.

Grabbed these today:

Six Feet Under are $16.99 each at Best Buy and at Circuit City all HD-DVDs are 50% off.

I can't help but want the 5 season box set of Six Feet Under with the grass patch on the top.  I already have the individual seasons so I guess it won't happen.

Mammoth: Sci-Fi channel flick, my boyfriend did some of the SFX (And Yes they were meant to suck...at least that's what he says)

Soggy Bottom USA: a cheese -fest 70's movie involving pendulous breasts and I believe moonshine.

and 2 burned DVD's from a friend: one starring a midget playing 007 and one flick starring a Turkish spiderman
I am not above projectile vomiting to get my way

Yes... yes i do. I mean, basically they're just riffing on video games instead of movies. And, even though the AVGN does it much, much better... i just decided to splurge and buy 'em both. Sometimes those guys crack me the fuck up!

Awesome! Starring a bushy-eyebrowed Spiderman as a villian, who likes to murder people by way of a gerbil-tube. Can't go wrong with that one. And i assume the "midget 007" is Weng Weng... another good pick. That friend's DVD collection actually sounds something like mine!

Sucker! ;)

I never could understand why some movies are only released in fullscreen,on of the reasons I love DvD is because of the widescreen format.

Oh I have a job now and my Wal-Mart had an HDDvD player on clearance for $75.  it had both The Bourne Identity and 300 in the box(two movies I had been meaning to pick up any way),and they had an HDDvD version of Justice league New frontier on the shelf so needless to say i am now raiding a dead format.

I can't believe how much better things look!  I may have a hard time going back.

Can anyone tell me if the version of King Kong that is out on HDDvD is the Director's cut or not?

Also is there anywhere on the web that i can get a complete list of all the movies that were released on HDDvD?

thanks.

Now it's off to the internet to look for good deals.

Well I guess I will be holding onto my SD DVD for now then, but I may still pick up the HDDVD version.

Thanks for the link.  I just noticed that Sky Captain was released on HDDVD!  Happy days.
