Just because they're amicable doesn't mean that Joel hasn't been spotted eating babies and kicking puppies. Or maybe that was Mallon. Or Satan. Dammit... Hold on, i'll be back once i get all my rumors sorted out.

So does anyone think this will finally put the Mike Vs.Joel flamers in their place?

I prefer Joel.  It goes back and forth, but right now I'm much more of a Joel fan.

Mike's OK sometimes, I guess, but he doesn't do much for me.  He's just kind of -- well -- you know what I mean?

Also to all the people saying CT is a disaster and this and that. Come on get real. If a year from now they have 8 or 10 releases out will you still be saying that?

The first one was released, what, 4 months ago?

At this pace, they will be lucky to have 3 releases out in the next year.

Maybe they are knocking out a bunch at once, so that about halfway through the year, they can have regular releases for the rest of the year. We would be met with an orgie of CinTit releases...

I don't really believe that, I just wanted to use Orgie in a sentence, I came, I saw,  I conquered. Personally this is pretty unacceptable in my eyes. They should have more releases in less amount of time than this. Sure the process is intense with getting everybody together to shoot and write, but come on. Its just not good business.

But still, they probably just haven't gotten used to the process, I'm sure the CinTit guys know about the anxiety of the fan's for more releases, and I'm sure they are hurting to please the fans. So even though I think this isn't good, I still think we should maybe cut them just the teensiest bit of slack. Let them get in the motions of doing this, and I'm sure they will get a pace going.

Two of the five are WGA members (Josh for sure maybe Frank?) and they were on strike from November to whenever. If they had Oozing Skull already written at the start of the strike and the punch ups were done by the three non-members so they could shoot, that could account for the delay.

Since it is the 5 of them they might have wanted to wait until all 5 could write or at least be free to write without screwing up their 'day jobs" so to speak.

The strike had nothing to do with CT, not a legal sense anyway.

What do you mean legal sense?  If you were a WGA member then you couldn't practice your craft during the strike or face expulsion from the Union.  That's all it meant.  You couldn't be prosecuted.  It was entirely the Union affiliation that was preventing WGA members from writing.  That's it.  So like he said, if some of them couldn't write for this reason that may have caused a delay.  But who knows.

Oh please don't bring him into this thread.

It's insane enough as it is.

No that is wrong. You could write for yourself as much as you like, no one can stop you doing that. You could not work on any studio related product covered by the WG-Studio contract. In Mary Jo's new interview with Frank he was writing for Nickelodeon during the strike. The Strike did not cover all writing by it's members.
