Didn't look like a wig to me

see, to me it just looked like she had her hair pulled back tightly in a hairband...if you've ever tried to do that with long hair (I have), it tends to get pushed up a bit at the back and looks kind of funny.  Seems to me it was kind of a typical hairstyle of the day, though.

Now, was she a natural blonde? Probably not.  It's hard to tell from a black and white film, but she appeared to have dark roots, so I would say it was probably dyed. 

Anyway, that was just my interpretation of it.

And the dancer in Incredibly Strange Creatures.... didn't look like a female impersonator....

But they have to have something to talk about.   And when there's nothing there, why not invent it?
