Final Fantasy was a great, unique film that everyone (though mainly just Bob Zemeckis) is now ripping off, but never for the right project, like say a Superman movie. Plus, it had a hot chick in it who doesn't exist. Beowulf has Angelina Jolie in it, who does exist, except they made a version of her which isn't real, which is pointless pandering and very exploitative, to make us think we're actually watching the actress instead of just letting it be a character. Same with Malkovich. There was no point in this. The whole movie, like most overhyped movies, is just pure pandering.
I assume you're talking about The Spirits Within, which made no sense even by it's own rather murky internal logic.  Without the celebrity voices and the cutting edge (at the time) animation, it would have just been another bad anime.

Of the two, I prefer Beowulf.  At least it's not pretending to be deep.
I thought I was Dale.

I loved Final Fantasy 7 the movie. It rocked. But you had to have played the originall Final Fantasy 7 game to get most of it.

I enjoyed it far more than Beowulf even though Beowuf had a better structure and story,

Now you're talking about Advent Children, which is a different movie entirely.  That one didn't make any sense either, but it looked cool, and was fun to watch.

Now begins the race against time between the postman, who should be bringing my copy of Beowulf in HD via "Media mail" and the Rifftrax. :^)

"Media mail"

Time to watch the paint dry

I'm in the same boat but that's alright, cause I should probably spend this week studying anyway.

Raven

Showed up today.  Damn.  That wasn't the usual time for media mail.

Media Mail is the cheapest because it is federally mandated to be the cheapest.  The Postal Service actually loses money, or barely breaks even when someone uses it, so they don't put a high priority on any item sent that way.

On the mail issue.. I've taken advantage of those 'Flat Rate' Priority Mail boxes..
Most of my computer hardware failures that are RMA'd, are sent to the west coast, and I always ask.. "So.. How much did I save??"
Usually an Average of $10.00 8)

I would like to see a redo of all the Rifftrax covers where Bill was a riffer.  They all should feature Bill as the lead female character.
