Sideswipe

I like how Superman takes his duties as local Witchdoctor very seriously.  I wonder how he got that job anyway?

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Is it the fact that Jimmy is marrying an ape instead of switching minds with one as often seemed to happen in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen?

It is rather telling of the usefulness of the character that the only way the writers could think to sustain interest in Jimmy Olsen was to constantly make him NOT Jimmy Olsen.

He said, " Ooh Eee Ooh Ah Ah, Ting Tang, Walla Walla Bing Bang."
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.

Well the man can start a fire with his heat vision, that must come in handy in the jungle.

So Superman wakes up one morning and decides, what the hell, might as well become a Witch Doctor for some random jungle village?

So I just wanted you all to know, that as we speak, I am at work transfering audio reels right now to a usable format. Its pretty cool, its from an irish family living in Alabama sending audio reels to their son/boyfriend in Vietnam. Its pretty interesting, and just as a side note, people talked different back then...they sound different. I can't explain it, but they sound different...and its not just the accent. Its weird.

And here all I'm doing is sipping my dew and watching the clock!! :(
Gravity, thou are a heartless bitch!

Doctor Who?

My mom listens to a lot of old music and she says that people 30-70 years ago had more range with their voices.

I can't really tell but she has spent most of her life studying music,so I trust her on this one that may have something to do with it.

Where did you get that ape any way? History has always been my favorite subject and I wish I could find something like that in my attic.

Sounds a bit like Dear America, one of my all time favorite documentaries.

Hey those guys get 700 to 800 seashells a year and complete health plan, how could you say no to that?

These reels are way interesting, I just heard the guy in 'nam talking about some stories, they are crazy...and a little violent.

I work at a videographer company, but every so often people bring in old audio tapes that need transferring. But this is the first time we have gotten old audio reels. After I'm done with these, I have to do some old Super 8 film transfers to DVD which is also pretty cool. but with all things cool, there is a downside. If you don't pay attention, the projector will chew up people's film...its the same with these audio reels...ah wait...crap.

If you can find it, check out Dear America, though I think the original book is out of print.

Are you transferring for a private customer or for commercial production?

EDIT: Oh reading the post again, Oh Dear. :speechless:

Fortis

its for a private consumer, we don't get many corporate gigs...unless its a video shoot. Which at the moment we could use a couple.

Oh, and my "oh crap" from the previous post, was the audio stopped working...had to figure out what was wrong. It was just the miniDV tape ran out, so I got a new one, but I was an idiot and left the reels going, so I had to try and find where I had left off before the tape ran out. Stupid thing.
