WTF?

It's something Isaac said a little while ago that I thought was sig worthy.  It's hotlinked if you want to see it in context.

I don't like the Lord of the Rings movies that much myself, but I'm assuming he was in some kind of fugue state when he made that comment.  It just seems even over the top for him.  Maybe he had too much tobacco at his b-day party.

Quote from: Doctor Who? on February 12, 2008, 04:18:04 PMThe most insane thing is when you say that the Wachskis(Yes I didn't bother to look it)know more about filmmaking then Jackson,I think that just goes to show how little you know about movies.

I know a great deal about films and filmmaking, even more than you do, and those guys are better directors than Jackson. Even if every one of their films sucked, they would still be better filmmakers than Jackson. Uwe Boll is a better director than Jackson. And that isn't saying much.

I have to beleive his statement, I mean, he knows a great deal about films and filmaking. (He must be in the gifted program because all i knew in high school was that cells divide and that is where baby's come from)

In his defense, I also think that The Wachowski Bros are better directors than Peter Jackson.  But the Uwe Boll comment is so absurd, I just had to showcase it.  Isaac is beautifully insane.

I know I seem to exist in some sort of weird half text savvy half caveman lawyer world but does anyone know how I could feed a song in my sig?  I thought I could just up load a file to Divshare and have done with it but that didn't seem to work.

bettertomorrowamy

I did it with that "Hat is Like a Shark's Fin" song I had, but they have some kind of algorithm or something that slows down the song so it sounds like shit.

I seem to recall you can stream a song on myspace, how do they do that?

Thanks for reminding me of one of Phil Hartman's greatest roles.

As for your direct question....I got no idea.

One of my favorite too :)

This probably fits in somewhere in the Movies section, but I'm not sure where specifically:

I was just thinking back to some of W. Smith's films.

RVR II

HEH! That pretty much sums up his career to date.. :D :D

Aww adaptations yes, but give him a drama and presumably a stick for Jada to slap him with when he gets out of hand, and he can turn in a pretty good performance.

Junkyard

I agree. But don't let him near any more damn books!
