Just wondering who else on the Rifftrax board plays Fantasy Baseball.

I know, I know... let the mocking begin.

Ok I don't understand how Fantasy Baseball works, but I love Baseball.

You want to do something like RVR's football thing?

I am a total dork concerning all things professional baseball but haven't joined a fantasy baseball league to date. They look to be fun but somewhat demanding time wise. Nonetheless, I might just have to dive into one this forthcoming season.

I've got 2 Yahoo Fantasy Baseball leagues (one head to head, one Rotisserie) and we might need some more people since the usual people are slacking this year.

Here's the Roto League:

League ID#      63637
Password: mumbles
(If you're confused by the league name "Menino's Jumbletrom League" here's where it's from: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jumbletrom )

I'm going to give people a little more time on the Head To Head league, and if there's open spots I'll post the info.

K1, how many spots are open for your Rotisserie League (I don't have a Yahoo account yet), and  how does it handle drafting?

Addendum: This clubhouse prank the Phillies pulled on Kyle Kendrick is a dandy...

It's great that the boys of summer are back.

That was great.

Right now there's still 8 spots open in Roto.  (I think 3 left in the head to head league)  But I'm the commish in both, so I can alwasy expand the number of teams if needed.

We usually do a live online draft.  (easiest way to do it with people all over the place)  The way that works is just like you'd expect, you have x amount of time to pick your guy, if you don't pick anyone Yahoo will use your pre-rankings to choose your next guy.  If you don't set a pre-rank (or once all your pre-ranked guys are taken) it goes to the Yahoo rankings.  So if you can't make the draft or don't want to Yahoo will do it for you.

I'll join your Rotisserie League. I was hoping that's how the drafting process worked as I don't have any idea if I'll be able to make the live draft, but will rank my hopefuls prior to it.

Love baseball ... haven't fell victim to the whole 'fantasy' craze just yet.

This could be your year!

Anyone else?  Still plenty of spots open.

Pushed back the day of the draft until the 8th on the slim chance someone else has the guts to challenge me or TeamRAD.
