i think it's pretty much agreed that the star wars prequels sucked, and that's why rifftrax went after those.  i wonder if they think the original trilogy is good and won't riff it?

A common misconception is that they only riff movies that they consider "bad".  But the guys liked LotR and Indiana Jones, and riffed them anyway.  Why?  Because they could make a funny rifftrax out of them.

In other words, rifftraxes for the original trilogy are a definite possibility.
