That's the famous quote, I think it's from Shakespeare's Macbeth originally.
But the leftover letters in the scramble spell "awful."

No, it's Kurosawa's "Pootie Tang."  No, wait, it's Kubrick's "Clockwork 2: Electric Boogaloo."  No, wait, it's Ingmar Bergman's "Ballistic Ecks vs. Sever."  It's ...

Feh.

Ineffable Penguin.

Is anyone here a member of the SomethingAwful forums? This might just be my excuse.

Anyways, if you are, see what they know.

Unless they're doing Wizard of Oz ('Wicked' was based on it).

If they ever do Pootie Tang, I will have no choice but never buy another rifftrax again. That is going way too far in my book.

How can we link clue 1 with clue 2?

I dont think clue 1 was really a clue. I think the real clue 1 was the one they gave us today.

Well, "Something wicked this way comes" is a strange little movie, mildly riffable but obscure. The paraphrased quote is from Shakespeare. I hold out little hope for finding something at somethingawful.com. I think that's just a coincidence.

One other thought, according to the wikipedia ""Something wicked this way comes" is the tagline of the Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban movie."

That's right! They sang the song in the trailer.  But would they riff a sequal before touching the original.
Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

Naw. Da penguin pointed us to the swearing penguin for a reason...

For what it's worth, I Googled the phrase and found a few references to a movie called The Thirteenth Child. Having trouble with my hyperlinks, but here you go: http://www.dvdresurrections.com/MovieReview_The13thChild.html

I'm not seeing much of interest at SomethingAwful.com.  I'm thinking perhaps that this was a pre-clue, simply indicating that a particularly awful movie is on the way to be riffed.

It's possible that the Shakespearean origins of the quote have some import.  The original line is from Macbeth, Act IV, Scene I, and goes as follows:

By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks!

Or, possibly, it's a film adaptation of a Bradbury book.

We need to get a hold of this interview Mike is doing with SomethingAwful webmaster Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka. I wonder if/when it's going up.
