According to my unofficial list, this will be #50!  :)
Groovy.  Nice list!  Thanks, Gammer.  Is there a similar list which includes the DVD releases?  (e.g., Carnival of Souls, NotLD, etc)

I get confused about which of the DVDs in the Gift Shop have RiffTrax commentary.

Swing Parade and Plan 9 specifically mention embedded RiffTrax, and I've got them, so I'm sure about those.
The rest either mention "COMMENTARY BY MIKE NELSON", but not if it's a full-length RiffTrax kinda commentary, or don't say anything about commentary.  The two Stooges collections are just hosted / introduced by the guys, right?

Sometimes things have to be spelled out for me.  In large print with pronunciation guides.  Anyone wanna help me?

The DVD releases with Mike's commentary like Reefer Madness and Night Of The Living Dead are a little different than Rifftrax.  These were done for Legend Films long before Rifftrax came into existence.  He makes fun of the movies, but he also gives a lot of information about the films too.  They are much closer to normal commentary tracks than the Rifftrax we've come to know.  Just so you know what to expect before you purchase any of them.

I just dusted off my old Legend Plan 9 DVD and listened to Mike's commentary again.  It's pretty dry and I think he missed lots of good riffing opportunities.  I'm really looking forward to what all three of the guys will be able to do with this movie!

Is there a problem?

I spent over $20 for the two restored versions of the film, Mike's solo commentary, and some cool extras. I would be more than happy to spend $3.99 on a RiffTrax featuring Mike, Kevin and Bill riffing together. I don't know if I'd do this if they decided to record new commentaries for the other Legend releases (maybe Reefer Madness, but they should leave Little Shop alone), but I'd certainly do it for Ed Wood. How about a RiffTrax for Jail Bait, Glen or Glenda, et cetera?
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

even Night of the Ghouls would be a great rifftrax, which in my opinion is the worst of all of the Ed Wood films.

You know, the entire Ed Wood catalog would be ripe for the picking.    The movies themselves are such cheesy fun, they would do most of the heavy lifting.

Yeah, but The Violent Years, Bride of the Monster and The Sinister Urge were already featured on MST3K. Don't know if they'd do them again. Maybe Bride and Violent Years, since Bill wasn't on the show yet at this point.

Do you think Rifftrax will offer VOD of this new Plan 9?

Conor mentioned elsewhere that it would be on VOD and .mp3/.riff formats.

Ed Wood RiffTrax sounds like a great idea.  Would I like more of them?  Absolutely.  But only if they chose the right ones.  Glen or Glenda is almost impossible to watch.  I think it's something like 80% stock footage and narration (the whole thing is available on Google Video if you can withstand the pain).

Well, that's the point of the RiffTrax. It lessens the pain.

BTW, when I searched for "Glen or Glenda" on Google Video, I found this. Check it out:

That was hysterical!   :D

Jail Bait would be a fun one to riff......forget what I said about Night of the Ghouls....it is not public domain so it would have to be a rent/buy dvd. and it is just not worth it.  It is REALLY BAD and UNWATCHABLE.

All of the DVD's in the gift shop have Mike commentary except for:

Missile to the Moon (RiffTrax sold separately)
Three Stooges In Color (Has Mike, Kevin and Bill sketches/host segments instead of riffing)
Three Stooges Greatest Routines (Has Mike and Kevin sketches/host segments instead of riffing)
Thanks for the info.  It's much appreciated.
Failure is not an option.  It comes factory standard.
