Yeah, it's great.  If you like Handbrake, buy the VisualHub program they advertise.  It's well worth it.  You can easily convert between video formats, link files together, and convert to a dvd.iso.

I dont see any forum or register/login link when I go to the EZTake or the DVDWagon home page.   But like you said, their forums are probably a work in progress.

On the plus side, the EZTake download manager is very easy to install and use.    For $9.99, there is an add-on you can buy that lets you convert your downloaded movie into a MP4 format that plays on your ipod or Zune player and adds it to your iTunes or Zune library.   Pretty cool.   I can see saving some of the CT movies and shorts in the MP4 format for my iPod.

What format does the downloaded movie come as in the first place?

DVD-Video (MPEG-4 in VOB format)

Yeah it's just like if you had copied the contents off the DVD as files rather than an image.

Yes, then I reiterate my statement that there's no need to give EZ "Omish Online" Takes the extra $10 for their converter software. Just use any freeware video converter software, handbrake works great even though it only has a few file type options, and there are others that will basically convert from anything to anything, including flash and YouTube files, if you were so inclined.

Personally, I shelled out $20 for Xilisoft's suite of programs, because I got the DVD Ripper, DVD Author, and Video Converter software on special for a package price (some promotion they were running). I also like "Convert X to DVD" from VSO, because if you're not a person who has much experience reauthoring, or just don't have the time to mess around with building a menu, it will do it all for you in one step - including shrinking file sizes and resolutions automatically if you're trying to squeeze more onto the DVD than would fit at standard size / length. I got an entire 7 episode Britcom season on a single DVD with VSO (the original boxed set I took it from was 3 DVDs), and you can't even notice a reduction in quality because it resizes from the original pure video feed on the DVD... very nice.

yeah, I don't think it's supposed to be operational yet. I just typed in /register after the web address, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore.

looks like you're the only one registered besides the admin now too.... since you can now actually see what's being posted....  including this

You're not being watched.

Please carry on.

Bob

As soon as I downloaded the download manager I went ahead and paid the $10 for the ipod conversion software.   Oh well!    It works fine with the click of a button and I have no issues.

They need to invest in the idea of live site versus test site. :)

...

Frank finally posted something up on CT.
It's mostly about his favorite riffs from the DVD, so i guess there should be some kinda' spoiler alert.

Maybe he'll post all the riffs, that way nobody has to buy it. Are we supposed to call him DVD's Frank now?

So would it be Downloadable Frank, Downloadable's Frank, Burn Your Own Frank, err,  guess I better stop now....

CT's Frank might work, though it still seems weird to use the initials CT for something not dirty.
