Oh, I dunno. The old rifftrax music wasn't without its charms. Maybe it just flipped a switch in my brain like bell ringing did to Pavlov's dogs. The new theme, however, is beyond redemption. But, staying on topic, I think that the CT theme is great.  Even the rough draft would have worked quite well.

I have no proof one way or the other, but the old Rifftrax theme sounded suspiciously like 'royalty free' music to me.  I don't think it was composed specifically for Rifftrax (at least I hope not), it had a very generic sound to it.  At least the new music has a little personality and I assume it came from our own ranks since they ran a contest for the best new theme, right?

Nor have I. Notice in the update how they mention we've broken records at eztakes? I'm beginning to think the theory that we overwhelmed the eztakes staff is valid.

Hopefully Eztakes took note of how many orders were placed and they do some major bandwidth upgrade for the next one that should have the download option available. Nothing more frustrating than slow downloads or being unable to connect to a site.

I got an email on the 22nd saying it would mail in approx 2 weeks.... So, we're now in the area of an approximate for 2 weeks seeing as it's 2 days till 14 days, so hopefully they'll be shipping within the next 2-5 days...

They are probably a smallish firm with a limited staff and limited DVD burning capabilities.   Imagine if you were them and in three days you received several thousand orders for one title.    They may very well have only a few DVD burners and limited number of folks to operate them.

Hopefully for the next release, they are ready for it.

Still, it's not as bad as it could have been. They only recently upgraded their wagon to one that used the new-fangled "round" wheels, instead of the older, "square" model.
