I know, I know, but my girlfriend and I are both cartoonists, and we are so much more productive without the internet to distract us!

I tried to burn it to a disc to use in my DVD player and I got the message "This player is not authorized to play this video". Any ideas? I have played other Divx movies in my DVD player with no problem.

See this is why people HATE DRM.  You're guilty until proven innocent.

Sorry if it offends you.

Maybe we should just pre-release all of our stuff on torrent sites continue doing things the way we are so you guys will stop complaining drink and be merry?

Thank you. That helped a lot. I always wondered how the VOD feature on my DVD player worked.

Glad  you got it working. Really wasn't that hard, was it?

It's not offensive is annoying, and it feels like less value for your money.

Let's not make our mods resort to cut n' paste replies here. I think they're aware of the feedback at this point. :^)

... I haven't seen the last short either...

Last short? Gah! WhatdidImiss?
Grug is probably talking about Signal 30. A 3 minute short riffing a dangers of highway driving safety video, which I really want to see the whole thing off.

Thanks!
I can't believe I already forgot about that one.

How do I convert this to DVD? If this DIVX gizmo won't let me convert the video to DVD format, where can I get the unedited public domain video and engineer it myself?

As I've said elsewhere, I despise watching video on the computer. I'd much rather laugh it up with my friends watching a Rifftrax on a normal television.

So, and please correct me if I'm wrong, there's no way divx will let me register my device that is supposed to be able play  VOD unless I own a PC and have Windows.  If I have a Mac, I cannot register my device and therefore cannot play my legally purchased VOD on the same device that plays all of my
other divx files just fine? Little bit of a rant, sorry.  Is there anyone who can help a poor ol' mac user register his dvd device, or is this yet another case of Mac prejudice?

bettertomorrowamy

I played it on my mac fine.  I think it is just if you have the new Leopard (10.5) OS that the divx player won't work.
