gunfire and explosions make any movie better

For example, any Ben Stiller romantic comedy.  Go ahead, try and convince me that movie wouldn't have been better if De Nero had just shot Stiller the second he showed up in front of the house.

Damn.  That's hard.  Not sure if I could do that, but I'll try anyway.

Um....................well.........there'd still be, uh.....hang on, it's coming to me............

Ah, yes!  There'd be a gaping plot hole:  namely, that a former CIA agent should have had the connections and the know-how to have him killed BEFORE HE EVER SET FOOT ON HIS DOORSTEP.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Why didn't the decepticons just buy the glasses off of eBay?  In a week they could have had them.  They wouldn't have had to attack Air Force One, or go to Iraq and try to hack into a military base.

This one was a major plot hole for me (among many), all the 'bots seemed to already know about the glasses, and all the info about the glasses and their owner could be found on the Internet, so what's with all the wasted time hacking into the government?  They are good enough to hack into the DOD but finding some personal info about a seller on eBay is too hard for them?

It was a typical summer blockbuster, lots of cool effects, bad acting, bad editing, bad directing, and bad writing, I guess they expect everyone watching these things to be suffering from heat stroke, with reduce brain function....

Well I think Bay wanted to take the Action route instead of making the movie about a bidding war between Autobots and Decepticons. :^)

Bid NOW Prime! The auction has 50 seconds left! Snipe NOW!
Prime: No... We must wait a few more seconds if we're going to out-snipe Megatron...

At least that would be entertaining.  There's nothing like a feisty auction to get your blood flowing.

There's also nothing more sadly amusing than a man who thinks he is funny.

Oh the irony!

Cosmic Muse

This is the best critique I've ever heard for this movie.

Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?
