Chaos

I would say, based on the evidence, that Greg for some reason cannot SEE the spoiler tags.

Jeez, give the guy some credit. NOBODY is that stupid.

Oh, he's kidding us.  You know that.

I just saw the movie and I thought it was one of the best horror releases I've seen in a while. It was very frightening on multiple levels. Darabont is good at adapting King because he puts the characters first.

Now the OG said that

I felt it was a fantastic adaptation and a great horror flick. At the same time...it's not for everyone. I can certainly see why someone would hate it.

^ What you are saying about the messege of the movie makes sense.  For me what became unclear was:  What was Darabont trying to say by showing that the woman who had left her children at home alone survived?  I found that particularly irritating.

It is hard to say how I would have felt about the movie if I was not very familiar with the story, but I really think that the mystery left at in the end of the novella was more interesting than having something so concrete about what happens next.

What the hell was up with the grating music towards the end?  I thought it was cool that there wasn't much, if any music, for the first 90 minutes.  Then it busts in with this weird screaming/yodeling during the final parts.

/\  Guess we're giving up on the idea of "Spoilers" for this?   ;)
