And unfortunately, Joel blasts that theory to smithereens in the latest Cinematic Titanic blog in which he states:

"last week I posted a photo of the Cinematic Titanic teleconferencing while working on the upcoming movie - which was a doctored photo."

So there is no guarantee that that was the "real" image that was supposed to be on the screen.  So all options are still open!

We have been writing the first Cinematic Titanic remotely –it just doesn't look that cool

Joel simply added MJ and Trace to the image, this was confirmed by RAD. And people have matched the screenshot up with

Just from reading the description of the movie we think it is, this will be a wonderful BAD movie. I can't wait!

If indeed, that is the movie, how on EARTH do they find these things?

BathTub

I doubt they can get away from it. I bet they regularly get mail, or just handed stuff with a note "You have got to see this!". In fact I am guilty of this exact same thing. Sorry Guys!

Well, if that's the movie, I'm waiting for their second release.

Huh?   That movie is right in the wheelhouse of what I would expect.

Are you wanting more black and while older shows or do you not like that type of film?

Bob

Man, I LOVE stupid movies!

Some of the director's other films like have me giggling every time I watch it.   We have bad movie nights and, with beer, these movies are awesome.

I don't like poorly dubbed Japanese movies, but I love every one MST3K ever did... hard to see what one really has to do with the other  :-\

Well, cos at some level you're still sitting through a shitty movie, that's what.

I know we've discussed this before, but methinks you might have chosen the wrong pasttime if you get bored sitting through shitty movies. :)

Linky link? For some reason that black and orange color scheme they got leaves my eyes reeling after a few minutes of searching. Cool forum though, i lurk every once and awhile and see some of you guys over there.

...

Thanx for that link, man!

I can't believe that those guys managed to nail the exact frame from the film! That was some major detective work going on over there. Congrats to them. And from some of the descriptions and reviews of the movie itself, this looks like it's going to be a great experiment.
