Hey, been a MST3K fan forever, my collection includes:

MST3K: The Movie
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Time of the Apes
Space Mutiny
Cave Dwellers (aka Ator 3 I think)
Prince of Space
Hobgoblins
The Final Sacrifice
The Undead
Puma Man
The Amazing Colossal Man
Deathstalker 3 - The Warriors from Hell
Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders
And a few more...

Anyway, I was stoked when I heard about RiffTrax , and after seeing the Star Trek 6 Riff - I was not disappointed.  I was laughing my head off through the beginning credits.

You guys kick more ass than Chuck Norris.
In fact..... I may have to get a tattoo of you guys beating up Chuck..... yeah that's the ticket....

A number of good episodes to be sure, and always good to see more MSTies become...uh, Traxies I guess.  Do we have a name yet?

Anyway, Star Trek VI was a good trax, but I have to recomend V is you haven't heard it yet.  It really helps the pain of that movie.

I thought the official un-official term was Riffaholic, or were you gone that day Ronin ;)

How long ago was it?  Mighta slipped in afterward, or just missed the thread.  Maybe I'll go with Riffaholic too, Traxie sounds kinda dirty.  ;D

Keef / Kief is spelled a bunch of ways, since it's slang.
I took my screen name from the MST3k episode "Cave Dwellers" : The actor who played the main character is Miles O'Keefe, bringing on the joke  [Crow: "How much Keef is in this movie anyway?"]  [Tom:  "Miles O'Keefe!"]

But yes, I'm a pothead as well.

Oh no no no. I believe the correct spelling is K-E-E-F-F-E.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

I'm only 22.  I used to watch MST3K when it was on Comedy Central.   I didn't understand half of the jokes, and thought that Tom Servo was the "intelligent" one and I took everything he said seriously.  I later realized that whenever I tried to sound intellectual, I used my best imitation of Tom's voice.  One of them anyway.  I was probably one of the youngest to become a fan and it is one of my earliest memories.  I remember crying when it left Comedy Central.  The show was finally brought back to me in 2004 when I met my husband.  He recorded them off of Sci Fi Network and bought many of them on VHS.  Seeing the show prompted my mom to buy multiple DVD box sets, one rifftrax, a DVD player/writer and many blank DVD's.  Another childhood memory, my parents used to have a large gumball machine, I called it Tom.  Having been a fan of Joel, I was reluctant to accept Mike.  It took some getting used to but I now love him to.

I wonder if my tendency to call all felines, regardless of size, kitty cats comes from Crow... the world may never know.
