Well yeah that's basically what I was saying about Joel going on and on about "the original Tom Servo!", when in reality most people are just going "Josh Who?"

You'd have to be a pretty casual fan to say "Josh Who?". I mean I know everyone is more familiar with Kevin's work, but people should have had plenty of time to get the backstory on MST3K.

I'd imagine most people here'd be familiar with him and MST history, but there's bound to be some people who's only real exposure to the show is the Rhino releases.  There's what, one episode released so far with Josh on it?  "The Crawling Hand"?

I can't wait to see what CT does, but I think I'll always be a Rifftrax-man.

I am hoping for some crossover riffing.

I tend to agree with this.  Most people are casual about it-- the vast majority of people I meet are like, "Oh yeah, with the guys at the bottom of the screen! That was a funny show!"  You're going to be somewhat hard-pressed to find most people who are that informed on the history of it all.

Big update with format choices and an interview with Josh.

Ah yes, forgot about that one because I've fallen asleep every time I try and watch it.

Not a critique of the episode, I just always pick bad times to try and watch it, when I'm nice and exhausted.

Interesting mention of Mike in there, hard to tell what tone he intended.  My experience tells me anything in text comes off harsher than its supposed to and that it's likely a lighthearted joke.

I am pretty impressed with the format choices. The Ipod option is probably going to be the way I go. Fairly easy to DL it onto the video Ipod then use the audio video hook up for the ipod to put it on my tv. That is a handy option in my opinion.

Yeah, he praises Mike in the answer.  He was making a joke.

Lots of good options for their movies.    I will probably pick either DVD or downloadable to burn to DVD.

Looks like they have a "short" coming out for those who joined their mailing list.   Too bad they have not actually sent out any e-mails yet......

Price will play a roll for me in which format I choose.  Ideally, I would like a regular ol' DVD, but if the downloadable options are significantly cheaper, I'll probably go that way.

It's whatever I want to call it.

Now it's known as "Saucy's TechnothingPod"

Deal.

Ok, that's fine, but can we shorten it to iPod?
