(Original issue was PEBCAK, ignore.)

When the movie gets to the main menu, the player doesn't seem to want to play the menu's animation loop - it just sits on the final frame of the previous chapter, though the music still plays and the menu is still functional.

Also, when I press stop on the player, I seem to have no way to restart without closing the player completely and restarting. The play button is greyed out, as is opening a .riff file, and the Close option doesn't do anything. The timecode still shows me as being at a specific point in the film, but hell if I know how to start it back up. Clicking on the Fullscreen option at this point causes the player to give an error message.

Running on a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows XP.

Did you try another DVD and related *.riff?  Are all out of sync?

I've seen the same problem with the stop button, only way to restart is to close the player and reload the .riff file.  I'm also running XP.

Tried Star Trek V and The 5th Element, both worked fine here as far as syncing up even when using all the DVD controls (except stop of course).

The 5th Element started the movie right away, so no chance to play the RiffTrax intro.

Later,
Marty

Yes...same problem here tried the player with 5th Element.......hit the stop button and then then double clicked to go into full screen and bingo, error message, but other than that,it works very nice

"Skip warning screens" totally freezes up the player. The movie still plays but I can't press any of the buttons after hitting this one. I turned it on during the columbia logo preceding The Fifth Element, then it starts playing the movie, but no riff and no control.

Also, what the heck is "my bookmarks"? And when is Riff Readme enabled?
