I just read the update on the Cinematic page.
It put a smile on my face.

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they are talking to an old friend when they read Joel's writing?

yup, Howard the Duck is as rare as they get

OK, trying to un-wedge my foot from my mouth.

But...I still think it's not going to be Howard the Duck.  I think it's going to be something a bit older, and a bit more bizarre.

Why do you guys think it HAS to be a Lucas film?

Exactly.  It could be anything.

True it could be anything but I think people assume Lucas name associated with the project indicates one of his films.

and THX was pretty strange

But Lucas was pretty damn proud of that movie, I doubt he'd hand it over to be ripped on.

Also, what country is that Howard the Duck cover from on Amazon that it actually reads "Howard O Super Hero!"

Well the language track is in English and Portuguese so either Portugal or Brazil?

Has anyone mentioned Willow yet?  Or the Radioland Murders?  More American Graffitti?  These are all distinct possibilities, wouldn't you say?  I didn't get the update via e-mail either.

Well, irregardless of all these grammer issues, I ain't got no beef with no one who uses pore grammer as long as y'all make you're meaning clear, its all write with me.

Oh god I'd forgotten about Willow, that's a good suggestion.

I dont think it will be Howard the Duck.

What I DO wonder about is why the first live show and "debut" is for the folks at Lucas Arts.    Is Joel tight with someone there?   I doubt that they would want to see one of their movies riffed ala Time Chasers in front of the employees.

My guess is that Joel is tight with someone there.

Don't see that anywhere on the page, but if you say so.

It would be indeed funny if Willow lost the Round Table Riff poll just to get targeted by Joel and his team.  As one of the people who voted for Willow it would make me smile.   ;D

Well Amazon has a page for the DVD which might point to a forthcomming release.

They have pages for lots of things. Even the Star Wars special that Lucas has said will never get released has a page.
