Now don't take this the wrong way as I loved the rifftrax on Halloween but i noticed that their was alot of dead moments during part 1 due to all the walking.

Would one of the Sequals been better as more happens in them.

As said before I LOVED this rifftrax so i hope nobody takes this the wrong way.

Halloween H20 would have made for a good one.

I think they just wanted their first Horror-themed Rifftrax to be on a classic movie.

H2O is certainly no classic...

Agreed on that point.  But I was just thinking that with not only Jamie Lee Curtis, but also Josh Hartnett and LL Cool J, it would provide some excellent fodder for riffs.

If they wanted to do a classic horror film, I think A Nightmare On Elm Street or Friday The 13th would have been more riff-worthy than Halloween.

Halloween III - The season of the Witch has to be the WORST sequel in the history of cinema for a quasi-successful franchise.

That was the film I was hoping would get the Rifftrax treatment.

I think as arguably the mother of all modern horror movies, Halloween was the best start.  Perhaps it wasn't as riffable as the other Halloween films, but I think it'd look odd (to me at least) if they did the third one and then months later did the first.

I'm still pulling for Highlander 2.
Snowhead the Blue Reindeer gave me all the presents in the world.

I like the movie and I have no problems with the Riffing of a movie I like but for me there really wasn't any gut-busting laugh out loud riffs. I laughed more watching the two minute Film Crew clip of Killers from Space.

I agree with this MrTorso.
Just not allot of *big laughs*. And as I mentioned in my take, if it wasn't for the Donald Pleasance jokes, then this would have been the worst rifftrax to date.

It looks like RiffTrax will be around for a bit, so I'm curious to see what they do in the future for other holiday related movies.

I thought it was an excellent Rifftrax.  Halloween is one of my favorite movies, so my familiarity with the topic at hand might sway that a bit, but I was laughing the whole time.

The thing about sequels is that it turns potential customers away. Case in point, as I make my way through the riff trax I'm pretty sure Star Trek 5 will be the last on my list because I will also have to watch the first few in order to be in on the jokes.

Halloween is the perfect start for future holiday riffs, next year they can do Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th.

You have never saw 1-4?  How about the TV show? There was nothing in the Rifftrax that really referenced any of the other movies. If you know that Shatner pimps for priceline and you know Checkov says wessel instead of vessel you should be fine.

I was a total Star Trek virgin (not to be confused with total virgin Star Trek fans) and had no problems with jumping right in. I think they wrote it with the non-trekkie in mind.

And George Takei is gay now.  Or out of the closet at least.  That's important to know.  But even Mike has advised (in Movie Megacheese) never to watch as many as four Star Trek films in a row.  And I would recommend never watching the first one.

I am guessing Star Trek V was done because that was a film Mike has always wanted to Riff on.  He mentions that film in Movie Megacheese and commented at the 2nd MST3k convention that if he were to do a Star Trek film, it would be number 5.

Highlander 2 ..... Oh yes, that film does deserve a swat to the nads.

But, as far as Halloween, ALL slasher films are filled with the same moldy cliches, so it doesn't matter which one you start with.  My point was just the Halloween 3 was SO BAD.....it would have been a funnier track.
