Im still wrapping my head around all of these announcements.

1. Mike and Rifftrax is still going to get my money as long as it's still a consistently funny product.

2. Joel and the Cinematic Titanic are going to get my full support from the get go and will for as long as it's consistently funny.

3. The Cartoon idea is bull shit. Jim and Paul will not see a cent from me.

Those are my very simple opinions on all of this wild and crazy news.

I think it would be cool to have a talent exchange of sorts.  Mike as a guest on a few Cinematic Titanic episodes, and then Joel, Trace and Frank return the favor for a few Rifftrax.

Sort of a cross promotion between the two brands.

I do hope that everything stays friendly between both sides.

I agree with #1 and #2 but as far as #3, I have an exception... if they put out some awesome never before seen video product from the so-called "legacy" series, I will give him as many cents as he wants (within reason).

But I'm not interested in his little web cartoon.

I have mixed emotions.  I'm genuinely excited but... am also a little bowed up and feeling protective of rifftrax...

I'm Confused, BUT Curious at the same time..
All of the cast were funny in their own way which helped keep MST3k unique!
I'll be keeping tabs on this new project to see what comes out of it.

.. maybe some co-existance and mingiling of sorts with each other's projects in time could produce some Very Interesting Results!
