"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

That first one is one of my favorites, Rob. You may recall a discussion I became embroiled in very early in my days as a RiffTraxican:

Yeesh. I knew where that was going at the first mention of Hutchison... I used to listen to all the ghost crap when I was 15 or so. I would stand in the dark in supposedly haunted areas, listening to wind blow and trucks backfiring on the highway, but in the back of my head I would always be thinking "this is really ridiculous". I still remember the thought process that made me give it up: believing in ghosts versus taking science seriously is a lot like preferring to be drunk all the time versus being sober.

The second comic is therapeutic and frustrating to me at the same time because it reminds me of a certain person I know who thinks that, by calling her pretentious bullshit assumptions "philosophy", she's excused from justifying any of them.

Oh yeah I love the bollocks written about Chinese medicine and the like:

This from a country that is causing the near extinction of various species because a small organ they possess give some titddly penised Chinese man the hope he'll get a raging dragon in place of his minute old chap and the like.

My favorite example of Feng Sui was a show I saw about a Feng Sui master recommending a couple buy a flat over looking the Thames because "the flow of the river will take the negative energies away". Er, the Thames is tidal, assuming that it does take away those energies they'll be right back in about twelve hours.

Okay, could someone explain this one to me?

Wouldn't people against evoution be GLAD to see a being that couldn't have evolved?
