Thank you for clearing that up for us. You get a cookie!

Still, the question would take way too long to verify (Go through his whole IMDB appearances list, click each movie and read its page to see if it's nominated) for what's basically a couple of guys wanting to get answers out there as fast as we want to receive them.
It's almost like the "Does it star a previously riffed actor?" question but not quite as grating.

Might as well ask if a lunch was provided during the filming, lol

Yeah, the nomination question is a hard. One I guess he was in a film that was nominated this year, too, "Monster House" was nominated for best animated film.

I know it's not a big deal, but if it helps, my gut reaction to Fred Willard being in an Oscar-nominated movie was "A Mighty Wind."  I'm sure there could be more (like "Monster House").  But consider that Willard's (arguabley) most well-known performances have been in Christopher Guest movies.  That should draw a big arrow to Oscar right there.  And what fan of Christopher Guest's can forget the incredible performance of Mitch & Mickey at the Oscars?

True, but with the fires and everything, we just wanted to get the 20q's out of the way. We probably shouldn't have even answered the Oscar question (just as we have stopped answering the "previous riffed actor" questions) because, especially for someone like Fred who has been in dozens of movies - we simply don't have the time to research every single movie to see if it won an Oscar, let alone to have been nominated.
